28100 N. Ashley Circle, Ste 101A, Libertyville, IL 60048

Chris, Managing Broker and a Certified Property Manager-Candidate, received his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance with a minor in Economics from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, IL in 1989.  Growing up in Lake County Illinois, he decided to stay in the area upon graduation and began his career in commercial banking.  In 1991 he entered the real estate investment world when he sold his 1989 Ford Mustang and used the money to buy his first income property and started building from there.  While continuing to work in commercial banking where he specialized in real estate development and in the financing of income producing properties, he put together various real estate investments with partners.  During this time, Chris attended DePaul University's Masters of Business Administration Program.  With great effort, and the encouragement of his wife, he worked during the day and went to grad school at night.  Finally, he received his MBA with an emphasis in real estate in only two years in 1995.

In 1998 he founded Riverside Management and Leasing in order to provide professional management services to both residential and commercial properties.  By the time the year 2000 came around, he left the banking world and dedicated himself full time to Riverside Management and real estate management services.  Since then, Riverside Management has expanded and continues to manage residential, commercial, development and vacation properties.  In 2008, we expanded into the Florida Gold Coast area through our Florida Division called Gulfside Management.  The current management portfolio includes everything from single family homes, duplexes, apartment buildings, commercial office/ware house properties, development projects and vacation properties.

Chris, who lives in Gurnee with his wife and four kids, has served the community as well.  He is the past Treasurer of the Gurnee Breakfast Exchange Club.  While in the Exchange Club he served on various committees to raise funds and awareness for the prevention of child abuse.  He has also served as the Assistant Treasurer for his local church.  He volunteered to serve on the Citizens Financial Advisory Board for the local school district; which was charged with analyzing tax rates, revenue and expenses.  He also coaches basketball from grade school aged kids through the local Upward Basketball league.
